Welcome to issue 43 of IOTN. We are pleased to publish a comprehensive review of sea turtles in Pakistan, including conservation challenges and opportunities. Other content includes a description of community-based temporary care of sea turtles at Car Nicobar in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and a timeline of the dispersal of plastic nurdles through India and Sri Lanka after the wreck of the MSC Elsa 3 in May 2025.
We also share details of a new grant on offer from the International Sea Turtle Society and information about other small grants that may be used to support sea turtle research and conservation. Best of luck to anyone who applies for these grants in the coming years.
